Once again bringing together Central Pennsylvania farms, local restaurants, and the Centre County community.

What? The Golden Basket Cooking Competition benefitting Appalachian Food Works
When? July 27-August 2, 2020
Where? Elk Creek Cafe + Ale Works (Millheim), Four Ways Pub & Eatery (Bellefonte), Guante Family Restaurant (Mifflintown), Pine Grove Hall (Pine Grove Mills), Revival Kitchen (Reedsville), Shy Bear Brewing Co. (Lewistown)
During the week, participating restaurants will run a special menu item with ingredients sourced locally by Appalachian Food Works, plus a secret ingredient revealed to them at the time of delivery.
You can order these items throughout the week, and vote for your favorite on the corresponding dish’s post on App Food Works’ Facebook and/or Instagram pages. Most combined likes on AFW’s posts at 8PM on August 2nd will be declared the winner.
Through this event we are looking to raise funds for a refrigerated van, which will help us increase our capabilities and bring more of our region's bounty to your table!
Raffle items from local businesses will be offered throughout the week.
